Michael Ditterline

Obituary of Michael Russell Ditterline

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael “Toe” Ditterline, a beloved father, son, brother, step-father, and dear friend. Michael’s journey on Earth came to a close on November 24, 2023, leaving behind a profound void in our lives at a far too young age. Michael was born on March 16th, 1976 to Bill and Terri Ditterline. Michael lived his life on his own terms and made the best of any situation. He had an infectious laugh, radiant smile, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him was better for it. Michael’s love for his family and friends was unwavering. He had a big heart, and accepted all. Michael had a love for punk music, tattoos, and traveling. He obtained his passport in 2019 and was able to take some amazing trips to places such as Spain, Italy, and Mexico. In tribute to that, we will be taking Michael’s ashes to be spread at various locations around the world so that his travel dreams can live on. Michael’s passing leaves a huge void, but his memory will live on through music and remembering the good times we had. As we bid our final farewell, let us remember the joy, love, and happiness he brought into our lives. Michael is survived by his father, Bill Ditterline; sisters: Jill Schwartz and her partner Gino Petrivelli, and Jaime Gonzalez and her husband Hector Gonzalez; fiancé Kelly Eiden, son Isaiah Ditterline; three step sons Ariah Cookingham, Christian Johnson, and Mark Eiden III. Michael is proceeded in death by his mother Terri Ditterline. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Asher House, as it was a cause close to Michael’s heart.
