If you’re seeking an honorable celebration of life, we invite you to learn more about where we came from, our vision, and the dedicated people behind our work.

A History of Caring

Founded in 1961, Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes was designed with a focus on creating Portland's most unique and modern memorial event center. With open vaulted ceilings and an outside deck overlooking a creek, our event center and chapel offers audio visual equipment and a small kitchen which can easily accommodate catered events. Our memorial garden areas cover over 6 acres with paths along prize-winning roses, shrubs, and naturally treed areas.

Over the years we have provided meaningful memorial services and permanent memorials for thousands of people all across Oregon and southwest Washington. The trust that thousands of Oregonians have placed in us is not taken lightly. We realize that each individual family is unique and by providing personalized family service with reasonable priced funerals and cremations, we have separated ourselves from many typical funeral homes and cemeteries.

We have an experienced staff and all of the necessary resources to support you through a difficult time. We specialize in helping you arrange for personalized services to suit your family’s wishes and requirements. You can count on us to help you plan a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one. We’ll carefully guide you through the many important decisions that must be made during this challenging time.

Our Staff’s Dedication to Respectful Care

A funeral, or memorial service, should provide family members and loved ones with the chance to reflect, remember, and celebrate a life well-lived. At Sunnyside, our goal is to create exceptional services and experiences that fulfill the wishes of your loved one. Our experienced Funeral Directors provide guidance on the crucial first steps toward healing.
