Obituary of Joseph Hufford

Born Aug 2, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada and died Mar 12, 2023 in Portland, Oregon, age 76. He was the son of Joseph A. Hufford Sr. and Betty B. Degler and is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Joe was born with cerebral palsy, flawed at the time of his birth but simply handicapped at his death. His faith was made more real and evident thru this flaw. The love of his family was tested and enhanced as well. Joe was educated at Pearl S. Buck Center in Eugene, learning habilitation and life skills. He spent most of his career working at Portland Habilitation Center, retiring in 2012. He loved music, home, family, parades and lights. And his rocker. And traveling. Service is at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon on March 28 at 11:30.
