Obituary of Bernice Grimaldi

Bernice Grimaldi passed away at the age of 94 in the home she treasured. She loved the noisy get-togethers with family in celebration of birthdays, holidays or just because, along with the quiet time she spent with her friends. Home was where her heart was. Bernice also enjoyed traveling with her husband. Together they made several cross-country driving trips because she was afraid to fly. Her favorite trips were those to the casinos in Reno and the California wine country. Her strength and comfort came from her deep faith. She never missed saying the Rosary each night before closing her eyes to sleep. Our loving memories will help fill our saddened hearts. She will be forever loved, cherished, and missed. She is survived by Roy, her beloved husband of 73 years, daughters, Sheri (Tom) Loller, Keryl Burdine, and son, Michael (Kirsten) Grimaldi. Daughter, Adrienne Grimaldi, preceded her in death. She was “other grandma” to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the St. Anthony Catholic Church, Portland, OR on Tuesday, December 6th, at 11:00am.
