Obituary of Gheorghe Morar

On Sunday, May 29, 2022, Gheorghe Morar, a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 84. Gheorghe was born on March 19, 1938, in Sibiu, Romania. He moved to Vancouver, WA in February 1983 and has been a resident since then. Gheorghe married Maria Berinde in 1957 and had three children, one daughter Dina and two sons, Teofil and Gheorghe. Everyone that knows him would say he was a funny person, trying to make jokes and people laugh. He had his own personality; strong, strict and his way or no way. He loved gardening, playing accordion and saxophone, driving his Honda and spending time outside. He would always be in his backyard with his vegetable and fruit garden, he could never sit still. Gheorghe is survived by his wife Maria, daughter Dina and husband Ioan Banciu, with their 4 children, Beni, Simida, Ruben and Andreea, son Teofil and his wife Mihaela Morar, and youngest son Gheorghe Morar. He also left behind 8 great grandchildren which his house was filled of pictures of them. A memorial service will be held at Sunnyside Funeral, Cremation and Memorial Gardens, on Friday, June 3rd, 2022, 6pm -8pm and the burial service Saturday, June 4th, 2022 11am-12pm. Rest in peace, you will be greatly missed and time was too short. Love you, Bunicu.
