Obituary of Dianna Lynn Jensen

Dianna Lynn Jensen died suddenly of natural causes on August 31, 2021 with her life partner by her side. Dianna was born on June 3, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Robert Jensen and Marjorie Stahle Jensen. Dianna had one brother, Rick (Rhino) Jensen. She grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and joined the Air Force after graduating from Washington High School. Dianna was a communications specialist in the Air Force at McCord Air Force base in Washington State. Dianna married Gary McBride while serving in the Air Force and later divorced. She accepted the invitation of Gary's cousin Pam Reynolds to live with her and her family in Oregon where her Christian faith grew strong and decided to attend Wesleyan Bible College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This is where Dianna met and married her second husband Robert Mueller and later moved back to Oregon. Dianna and her husband provided guidance as youth group leaders, they later divorced. Dianna had no children. Dianna worked at Kaiser Permanente as a pharmacy technician for 17 years, this is where she met Nora and were together for 26 years. Dianna was a Reiki Master. Dianna was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother. Dianna is survived by her aunts Delores and Judy. She leaves behind her life partner Nora Lee; nephew and nieces Sabrina Jensen-Brown, Heidi Liegl and Adam Jensen. Dianna was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Dianna was athletic and played softball as a catcher in the Air Force, and enjoyed hiking, skiing and riding her motorcycle. Dianna had a gift for writing, planning and hosting parties, planning motorcycle rides including Sturgis with her Sisters of Shenanigans. Dianna was intelligent, insightful, wise, thoughtful, inspirational, honest, loyal, non-judgmental, empathetic, fun, witty, entertaining, creative, adventurous, sophisticated, articulate, generous and playful. Dianna had an insatiable appetite for learning and loved to read and learn new things. Dianna's favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween. Dianna's favorite dog was Murphy, her Boston Terrier: who will meet her at the Rainbow bridge. Dianna's final resting place will be at Riverview Cemetery in Portland, Oregon, with the rest of her Loving and Proud Lee family. Memorial and Celebration of life will be held on her birthday June 3, 2022 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Sunnyside Funeral Home in Happy Valley. The ceremony will be live streamed at 1:00pm.
