Obituary of Guy Franklin Ingram

Guy Franklin Ingram went home to his Lord on November 3, 2021 at the age of 89. Dad was born on August 8, 1932 in Fayette County, West Virginia in a small coal mining town named Kingston. He was the 9th of 10 children born to parents James Randolph & Virginia Mae Mosley Ingram. Dad served honorably in the United States Army, 193 Military Police Co in Korea from 1953-1954. Upon his return home he returned to Chicago, Illinois where he married and had six children. In March of 1967 Dad packed up his six kids and moved west from Chicago, Illinois to West Linn, Oregon to start a new life. In 1969 dad met his future wife Mary Rudishauser, they married on September 13, 1969, relocated to Milwaukie, Oregon where they built a home and raised their kids along with two of their grandkids. Dad and mom were married 42 years until her passing on January 2, 2012. Throughout the 60’s and 70’s dad had various jobs and business adventures where he was mostly self employed. In 1980 he went to work for Precision Castparts as a Supervisor where he remained until retirement. Dad was a member of the Church of Christ, the VFW and the Meals on Wheels delivery team in both Milwaukie and Gladstone, Oregon for a period of 18 years. Dad’s hobbies included watching Chicago Cubs baseball, Portland Trailblazer basketball, Chicago Bears Football, fishing and bowling. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, daughter Virginia Mae Jayne, grandson Hayden Blue Ingram, daughter Teressa Alene Allen, siblings; James Latelle Ingram, Lorraine Ingram Spencer, James Randolph Ingram Jr., Edith Marie Ingram Painter, Jacqueline Ingram Perry, baby Guy Ingram, Helen Jane Ingram Mendygral, Raymond Ray Ingram and Virginia Jean Ingram Reilmann. Dad is survived by seven children, Penny Hardwig (Brian), Paul Ingram, Richard Ingram (Sue), John Ingram (Noel), Victoria Ingram, John Rackley and Trudy Morrison. Also survived by: (20) grand children, (39) great grand children and (1) great great grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.
