Obituary of Kenneth Eugene McGhee

Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene McGhee died Saturday, February 20, 2021. By his side, at the time of his passing, were his mother Joan McGhee Kaczorowski of Santa Monica, California, his sister Maryn McGhee Foote of Long Beach, California, his son Shaye Banta and his mother, Veronica, of Centralia, Washington. He is survived by his son, Shaye Banta, and his daughter, Ashley McGhee and her two sons, Briggs and Leland, as well as two step-parents, Jerry Kaczorowski and Noreen McGhee, along with his extended aunts, uncles, and cousins in Washington, Idaho, and Indiana. Kenny died of carbon monoxide poisoning trying to stay warm from a fierce, Winter storm. He was born in West Covina, California on February 3, 1970 and adopted by Joan and Tom McGhee on January of 1971. Kenny grew up in Santa Monica attending Franklin Elementary and Lincoln Jr. High. He also lived in Oregon attending Tuality Jr. High and for a short time in Washington at Anderson Creek School. He loved his family and friends deeply. They loved him deeply and called him my best friend, my brother, my one true love, and of course, "Magoo." He was a favorite of many who sought his tattooing artistry. He enjoyed pencil drawings and shared them with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, motorcycling, and biking. And adored dogs, especially his Bailey.
