I had the privilege of being Jayden's 7th grade social studies teacher. I am deeply saddened by his passing. He was a very kind, empathetic, loving soul. He was always smiling and treating everyone with such friendship. I remember thinking. If I ever have a son, I hope he is like Jayden. kind, good natured, hardworking, and full of love. I am so sorry for your love.

I was blessed to get to teach Jayden during his 8th grade year at CMS. I will always remember the smiles Jayden brought to our community. Jayden was not only a brilliant science student but he was funny, kind and seemed to get along with just about anyone. I can't imagine the pain you all are feeling. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the opportunity to teach and coach Jayden at CMS and found him to be an extraordinary young man. So full of love and kindness; such a great example to his peers. The news of this loss brought me to tears many times over the last few weeks. My heart breaks for his family and friends.

Jayden, I loved being your kindergarten teacher! You came into class every day with a smile and excitement to learn! You were always a kind friend and while hesitant to try new things, you always tried your best! You will always hold a special place in my heart! URLVD! Mrs. Cook

Renee, Jeremey, and Austin, you are forever in my thoughts and prayers. Jayden is as well. I have always enjoyed the stories of Renee's boys and how close knit you all are. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing Jayden's memorial with all of us. All of his pictures showed how loved he was and how much he loved and also seemed to show a propensity for him being able to sleep almost anywhere. Hugs and much love to all of you.

In 2017, I met Jayden through my Chemistry class under Mr. Brook-deBock. It was immediately apparent that I was in the presence of someone gifted in scientific understanding. We got along pretty well and we would chat the day away in the free time in class and would correct my tomfoolery in that class during our group assignments.
One night before a quiz or a test (I don't recall which) I decided that instead of studying I decided to spend the night playing video games. On the day of the quiz/test I resorted to cheating by looking over Jayden's work (Sorry Mr. Brook-deBock if you're reading this). Apparently I wasn't very subtle and Jayden caught me quickly and chuckled whispering, "Go ahead."
Jayden always struck me as someone who commands a prodigal knowledge on science and mathematics compared to someone as academically unremarkable. Rest in peace my friend. We lost a genius.

Summer of 2018, before junior year, Jayden and I were always adventuring. There’s two days I’ll never forget, the first one was my 16th birthday. Most of our friend group was out of town so I went and got Pip’s donuts for us and went over to watch Euro Trip with him because he just couldn’t believe I hadn’t seen it. That was also the day he showed off his sock tan :). The second day I’ll never forget was the same summer. He drove me, Asia and Jason up to trillium lake for the day. I sat in the front seat and he made fun of my music taste. While we were at the lake floating I remember we talked about who we would pick to be on our Family Feud teams and he said he’d let me be on his . After we left the lake we went to Joe’s donuts in Sandy and him and Jason split a DOZEN donuts between the two of them. I got a video of Jayden on donut #5 while Asia and I were still eating our first.

I've known Jayden since the day of his birth. Followed his growth by hearing stories from his mom, Renee, grandma, Connie and older brother, Austin. I watched him grow via pictures on Facebook and popping over to their house over the years.
If anyone should be proud of their sons, it's Renee & Jeremy. What kind, caring, smart, and athletic boys who shared so much love for one another. No words can express the pain and sorrow this family is going through now; but I pray for God's peace to surround them.

I am so sorry for you loss.
Jayden came to my graduation party in 2018 and while he was there him and Adrian Garcia made an all-night effort to dance with my grandma every opportunity they got. They placed silly songs and would not stop dancing with her. It is still my favorite memory with him, and made my grandmas night. ❤️
