Obituary of Phyllis Gloria Wohlers

Phyllis Gloria Steffanson was born to Hjalmar and Laimi Steffanson on October 26, 1929 in Portland, OR. She attended Glencoe Grade School and graduated from Franklin High School before studying at Portland Community College. Phyllis married Pat (Vincent) Wohlers in 1952 at Mt. Tabor Church. She enjoyed art, reading, sewing, and most of all, her family. Phyllis is remembered for her kindness, creativity, and how much she loved children and animals. She was very involved with her children’s schooling and event taught as an aide in an elementary school. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Pat. She is survived by her children; Karen Steadman, Nancy Barram, Gary Wohlers, and Patty Stewart; her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
