Obituary of Maria Alice Gurney

Maria Alice Gurney passed away peacefully in her home on November 8, 2019.

Maria was born on July 10, 1941 in Flushing, New York to Giacomo Mirabito and Rose Saltalamachia.

On January 26th, Maria married the love of her life, Larry Gurney. They moved to Oregon when her husband got transferred to stay for just a few years but loved it so much they stayed to raise their family together.

Maria enjoyed various hobbies such as gardening, reading, watching the Young and the Restless, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her husband Larry, brother Anthony Mirabito, her children Brian Gurney and Barbara Kelly, daughter-in-law Shelly Gurney, her grandchildren Jack and Anna Kelly, and Anthony Dunham.

A memorial service will be held at Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
