Obituary of Cynthia Alice Cooper

Cynthia Cooper of Portland, Oregon, passed away on October 3, 2019.  She was 64.  Cindy grew up in Gold Beach, Oregon and enjoyed the Oregon Coast.  She attended Gold Beach High School (1973) and Rogue Community College.  In 1982, she married Edward Hoffman to whom she was devoted. They were blessed with two children Emily and Elliott both of Portland, Oregon.  Cindy enjoyed time with her children, reading, beach-combing and looking for agates, traveling and playing board games with family and friends. She was an Oregonian who liked the rain and nature.  Her friends appreciated her sense of humor and conversation.  She is survived by her two children, Emily Hoffman (Brock) and Elliott Hoffman and her brothers, Patrick Cooper of Grants Pass and Robert Cooper of Sacramento CA.  Preceded  in death by her husband, Edward, and her parents, Terrel Eli Cooper and Grace Encarnacion McKibben.  A celebration of Cindy’s life will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2019, 11:00 AM, at Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes.
