Obituary of Martha Aileen Peterson

I, Martha A Peterson, have lived a fantastic life beginning on September 16, 1921 through May 20, 2019. I am now at peace, and having fun.

I was the wife of Glen Dailey, Len Church, and Joe Peterson, all of whom I survived. I was the mother of three wonderful children, a grandmother and a great grandmother.

I attended Parkrose High School, and graduated in 1939. I graduated from OSU in May 1944 with a nursing degree then continued onto OHSU and Emmanuel Hospital where I received my bachelors of science in nursing. After years of being a scrub nurse I decided to go back to school and become a public health nurse where I was a school nurse and did home visits for the elderly in East Multnomah County.

I enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, canning and flower arranging. I was a member of 4-H, the Flower Lane Garden Club, Oregon Trailers Square Dance Club and the Grace Bible Fellowship Church.
